Welome to Air Watch Northwest, a portal to air quality management agencies in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia. These agencies monitor air quality in their regions and manage programs to protect and improve air quality so Northwesterners can breathe clean, healthy air.
The Northwest Air Quality Communicators Group is a consortium of communicators from federal, state, provincial and local air quality and health organizations. We are committed to sharing ideas, resources and programs to ensure that we are using our resources effectively in developing and implementing communications and outreach programs.
In this section, we are posting projects we have produced together – outdoor burning ads, our anti-idling program a fact sheet about the International Airshed Strategies group that is working on cross-border air quality issues.

Your healthThe video Making a Difference: Air Quality and Your Health was created to advance public understanding of air pollution, its sources and health effects. A collaborative, multi-agency effort to address shared air quality management concerns between British Columbia and Washington State, the video is divided into four chapters and provides real-life examples of individuals, communities and government affecting positive changes. |
